I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher, with 5 years` experience teaching at an outstanding school. I specialise in Maths and English, with particular expertise in Key Stage 2, though I have taught across the full primary range. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to the individual, ensuring children build both skills and confidence. I specialise in Primary Maths, English, spelling, reading, and grammar and punctuation, with particular experience in preparing children for KS2 SATs.

By adapting lessons to meet each learner’s needs, I create a calm, encouraging and fun environment where children are motivated to achieve their potential! I focus on making learning purposeful and accessible, while developing resilience and independence in my pupils. I have extensive experience supporting children with additional learning needs, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, ADD and autism. I design personalised lesson plans that target specific areas for development and provide measurable progress. Parents and colleagues describe me as patient, thoughtful, and dedicated, with an excellent rapport with my pupils. My aim is to deliver high-quality teaching that strengthens foundations in Maths and English, while also preparing children for the challenges of Key Stage 2 and beyond. I am available for lessons in the afternoon and evenings, and I am committed to helping every student make meaningful progress.
