I am a completing PhD student at University College London who is applying to teacher training next year. I completed a four year Chemistry MSci at UCL, gaining first class honours, before going on to a PhD at the same university. I have a strong scientific background, completing GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics with A* grades and A-level Biology and Chemistry with As.

I am a patient teacher and am able to break hard concepts down to a level that is understandable, thus making the tough science subjects less intimidating for students who are not confident.

Availability: Most weekdays can be done with prior arrangement some weekends may be possible. Please get in touch to arrange a convenient time.

Experience: I worked as a sixth form tutor at school, helping struggling GCSE pupils to improve their grades in the sicences. I have also been heavily involved with the outreach programme at UCL, devising and delivering both practical demonstrations and lectures to school children of all ages across London. Additionally I completed work experience in schools as a teaching assistant, aiding pupils to understand the material fully and helping them to understand why science is relevant and important.

I can teach all sciences to GCSE and Chemistry and Biology to A-level.
