My name is Avi, and I`m a Hebrew tutor and teacher with years of experience in one-on-one lessons and groups. I currently teach youths and adults in various institutions.

My Teaching Approach:
Whether you`re advanced and looking to polish your Hebrew skills and expand your vocabulary, or if you`re starting from scratch, I have the tools and experience to guide you on your Hebrew journey.

Starting from scratch? I`ll have you reading full sentences within only a few lessons, with many exercises to practice at home or during class. We`ll set specific goals and work methodically towards them so you can see and track your improvement from lesson to lesson. With a special method that breaks down Hebrew letters, you`ll be able to decode the language quickly.

Already have basic Hebrew knowledge and looking to immerse yourself in the language with a less structured method? We`ll use clips, films, music videos, songs, and poetry, all in Hebrew, to expand your vocabulary and enrich your Hebrew world. Everything will be tailored to your level and what you find interesting.

I have hundreds of different exercises and will build a personalized lesson plan that fits your needs and pace. My lessons include materials for home practice, organized lesson plans for each session, and weekly lesson notes sent via email. I only teach online, but I promise that my lessons are as effective as if they were face,to,face. I`m happy to teach groups or individuals.

Pricing
I charge £40 for one hour and £50 for 90 minutes.
Looking for something a little more budget friendly? No problem! Bring a friend or two to join you, and we can start our own Hebrew group. Teaching groups and managing different people`s levels and learning abilities is my specialty.

A Little About Me
I`m a 40 year old Israeli male teacher who has lived and worked in London for ten years. Since arriving in the UK, teaching Hebrew to all ages has been my job. In addition, I translate plays for the Israeli theater. I live in Hackney and will be happy to consider face,to,face sessions depending on the location.
