Information about Naomi
I am an enthusiastic and caring English teacher who is willing to ensure all learners meet their potential.
I have an English language/linguistics degree from Kings College London and completed my PGCE at Institute of Education.
I am currently Deputy Head of English and KS3 Lead at a secondary school in London and so have access to lots of resources and mark schemes relating to the new specification of exams.
Availability: Weekday evenings, Weekend mornings/afternoons.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have worked as an English teacher for the past 8 years. I teach year 7 to 11 across a range of abilities.
I have a particular interest in working with Dyslexic students as my siblings have dyslexia and so I have more of an understanding of the issues dyslexic students come across when accessing the GCSE material.

Naomi has been great with quick response from initial contact. She is knowledgeable in the current GCSE curriculum and able to support my daughter in both English Language and Literature. Naomi has been very adaptable in order to address the identified weak areas of my daughters knowledge. Due to Naomi`s warm and friendly manner my daughter feels comfortable exploring these less able areas and she is growing in confidence. I can thoroughly recommend Naomi to those who are looking for extra support in English

Naomi has been tutoring my son who has dyslexia, for a few months now. She is very patient and professional. The feedback from my son was :
