Inspiring Art Tutor..from Beginner to Degree Level

I have been selling my art for the last 25 years now. I have taken on portrait, pet portraits and wild animal commissions as well as selling landscapes and what I call space painting (Nebulae).

I have always enjoyed teaching art. It`s great to see a student grow in confidence and belief as well as understanding of art. Many people believe they cannot draw or paint. I take great pleasure in showing and proving anyone can do either, when they have the right guidance.

As well as being an artist. I also teach GCSE, A-Level and Degree students. I will take you all the way through the learning process.

Availability: I am available weekdays and evenings as well as Saturday afternoons.

Experience: I have been teaching art for the last 25 years now. I teach portraiture, pet portraits and wild animal portraits as well as landscapes and abstract.

Starting with learning how to draw, my students learn how to set out a drawing, learn how to use light and dark, how to create the dimensions of the subject, whether it is a landscape, animal, portrait, or anything else.

I`ll teach you how to use focal points, how to use colour, how to mix colour, how use colour combinations, complementary colours, how to use the brush, types of brushes to use.

Basically, I`ll take you from start to finish on a comprehensive course in drawing and painting , using a choice of pencil, oils, acrylics, charcoal, pencil and pastel.
