Hello, I am experienced TEFL and Mathematics teacher. I am an experienced female Keystage 3, GCSE and A-Level mathematics tutor. Most of my experience is with OCR and Edexcel examination boards but am easily able to inform myself on the syllabus of other boards when necessary. Most of my students have been gained through recommendations by students to classmates or other family members. I have an MA in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews. Since the beginning of Lockdown in March, I have been giving private lessons via Zoom and this has been working well. After each session, I often send a review sheet and set homework to do before the next session. I really enjoy giving one-to-one lessons as I can really cater the lessons to the individual, taking their weaknesses, strengths, personality, goals and learning style into consideration. As a teacher, I am patient, creative and hard-working. Other teaching experience includes work as a drama facilitator and TEFL teacher. I have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate. I can also provide testimonials from previous clients if required. In addition to my work as a teacher, I also work as a professional actress and drama workshop facilitator.

Availability: I have a very flexible timetable as I give lessons using Zoom (similar to Skype but catered to giving online lessons)

Experience: As a TEFL teacher, I have 10 years experience working for companies such as Bell, International House and Language Studies International. I have taught English to individuals and to groups aged 10 to 80 and with levels ranging from beginner to advanced. When it comes to English teaching qualifications, I received a CELTA Pass A from International House. Only 5% of TEFL trainees attain a Pass A grade. I have 6 years experience giving private one to one Mathematics classes to students preparing for GCSE and Mathematics exams.
