I`m a first-year MEng Civil Engineering student at Imperial College London (predicted First Class Honours), tutoring Maths, Physics and Computer Science online.

Having recently sat my own GCSE and IB exams — achieving grade 7 (the top grade) in both HL Maths and HL Physics, and 40/45 overall — I know the current syllabuses, exam boards and mark schemes first-hand, and I remember exactly where students tend to get stuck.

My approach is all about making difficult ideas genuinely click. I break problems down into clear, methodical steps and rely on worked examples and visual reasoning rather than abstract theory, tailoring each session to the student`s specific syllabus, level and weak spots. Lessons are flexible in length to suit different schedules.

Away from studying, I play football and have an interest in photography — I find that keeping lessons relaxed and conversational helps students stay engaged and ask the questions they actually need answered.

Experience: Online tutor with MyTutor (early 2026), delivering one-to-one lessons in KS3 Maths, GCSE Maths and GCSE Physics. Planned each session around the student`s syllabus, target grade and areas of difficulty, using interactive whiteboard tools to work through problems together.

Beyond formal tutoring, I regularly helped peers with Maths and Physics throughout my IB studies, and my own recent experience sitting GCSE and IB exams means I understand the current specifications and common sticking points from a student`s perspective.
