I`m a bilingual postgraduate from the University of Essex. I was born in Colombia but have lived in the UK for most of my life.
I studied Modern Languages and English language at the University of Essex, which led to a Masters degree in Spanish Translation, Interpreting and Subtitling. During this time, I lived in Spain for a year studying the Spanish language more in depth. After this, I lived in Santiago de Chile for 6 months while I wrote my dissertation and worked as an English tutor.

If you`re learning Spanish or English using a self-study programme, I can work with you to support your learning and provide speaking practice related to the material you cover or any topics you`re interested in developing. If you prefer, I can offer complete study materials for you to work with.

My passion for languages and teaching has enabled me to improve my skills with every single lesson I teach as each student has different needs and ways of learning and we. as tutors, have to be able to adapt and maybe even change the original plan to suit these needs and abilities.

Availability: I`m very flexible and try to accommodate all the lessons to the student`s needs. My availability can change from week to week.

Experience: Firstly, I lived in Spain for a year in 2012-2013 studying the Spanish language in depth. I have a Masters in Spanish Translation, interpreting and subtitling. After this, I lived in Santiago de Chile for 6 months in 2015 while I wrote my dissertation and worked as an English tutor for an Institute who specialized in Business English and also as a private teacher of English to children and business people. I thoroughly enjoyed this as I taught through play, songs and props as well as teaching the older pupils in a more traditional grammar- based way.
Once I came back to the UK in 2016 I started tutoring in Spanish and English to different calibre of students and continue doing that today.
