Information about Marius
I`m a PHD student and graduate teaching assistant at the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College dealing with advanced numerical methods and data analysis for flow simulations.
I graduated in aerospace engineering in 2017 with distinction at the University of Stuttgart, focusing on physical modelling, analytical and numerical methods.
During my studies in Germany I`ve worked as an assistant researcher at the Institute for Aerodynamics and Gasdynamics. In 2015 I did a 8eight-months internship in Silicon Valley at NASA Ames.
I am easy going, patient and get along with students well. I`ve started tutoring in high school and throughout my undergrad and postgrad I`ve been involved with helping students that have problems in their course.
Availability: Evenings and week-end (to be agreed). I am flexible.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: My main areas of expertise are physics, mathematics and computing.
I have a very solid theoretical background and I feel comfortable with many of the classical subjects of engineering (classical physics theory, aerodynamics, optimisation...), but also motivated to help high school students on their way to A-levels.
I know Python and Fortran very well, so I am available for help in building codes for data science/statistical analysis. Furthermore I have a basic knowledge of Matlab.
Even if your exact desired subject is not explicitly listed, don`t hesitate contacting me and we can figure out if I`ll be able to help!
