I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Queen Mary University of London. Having attended one of the best grammar schools in the UK, I am in a very good position to teach and prepare students for GCSE and A Levels. At Dr Challoners Grammar School I have completed my A Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry with an AS Level in English Literature. I have achieved 3 A`s at A Level and an A at AS Level. I have also achieved 3 A*`s and 9 A`s at GCSE.

I am extremely passionate about my subjects and would like to offer tuition for Maths, Biology and Chemistry A Level and a wider range of subjects at GCSE. Having just finished my A Levels, I am very up to date with the specification of all syllabuses and can teach the content of all the major exam boards.

Past paper practice and understanding of content are both very important when studying A level and GCSE. I will teach them both hand in hand, going through past paper questions early on. This will ensure students are ready well in time for mocks and exams.

Going through rigorous training myself at GCSE and A Level, I have many resources that I have collected over the years such as past paper solutions and detailed notes on topics that I will share with students.

The university application process on UCAS can be quite challenging for some. I will also ensure that those students applying to university will have the best personal statement they can.

GCSE and A Levels require a different approach to learning. I will be able to help tailor students to answer exam questions in the best way. The transition from GCSE to A Level can be quite challenging and many students don`t recieve the help they need. With my help in a friendly learning environment, students will quickly gain confidence in their subjects and will be able to tackle full past papers very early on by themselves.

Experience: During my GCSE`s I have taught Maths to the lower years in my school. As I began my first year of A Levels, I became a school Prefect and often arranged groups of students that I would help in their GSCE`s in a wide range of subjects from English Literature to Physics. During my final year of A Levels I became a Year 13 Mentor. The allowed me to take on roles of responsibility at tutoring A Level students as well as GCSE students. I have also done private tuition for 3 years for a few groups of students and they have all gone on to take up A Level maths with A*`s at GCSE under my mentoring. I am currently tutoring advanced maths to first year engineering students.
