Teacher and head of department in a successful school. 15 years of experience teaching both Economics and Business, A level, GCSE and IB. I now focus on tutoring full time and have been for the majority of 2025 and 2026.

I specialise in Edexcel Economics and Business Studies (as well as IB). I believe in empowering students with exam technique and in-depth understanding, which will help them to maximise their exam potential.

Availability: *I am almost full for evening slots, but I am still available for day time slots, so please get in touch if you are home schooling or have some flexibility in your study time* I am primarily targeting students who would be available for tuition during the day, whether that be during free periods, days off college or those who are home schooled.

I’m now fully focused on tutoring as my career and would like to do this during day times where possible.

Having said that, I am happy to open up some evening slots, so please do get in touch if you feel I could help.

Also happy to offer reduced rates for small groups or paired tuition, so ask a friend if they might also want extra support!

Experience: Delighted to say that my students achieved excellent grades this 2026 exam session. All achieved their first choice universities, or secured a degree apprenticeship. Several students improved by 2 or 3 grades over the course of tuition.

Very happy to say that all my year 13 students achieved their A grades and secured their place at their first choice University, in the June 25 exams.

I am an Economics and Business Studies teacher with 15 years experience teaching the subjects and experience of getting students excellent results, including students going to Oxbridge. In my most recent role, I was a head of department for Economics and Business. I have also been an examiner for Edexcel.

I am now tutoring full time.

I have experience working with a range of different students, including those aiming for A.A grades and those aiming for B/C grades. I also have experience working with students with SEND needs such as dyslexia and ASD.
