Teacher and head of department in a successful school. 15 years of experience teaching both Economics and Business, A level, GCSE and IB.
I specialise in Edexcel Economics and Business Studies (as well as IB). I believe in empowering students with exam technique and in-depth understanding, which will help them to maximise their exam potential.
Availability: I am now lucky enough to be fully booked for the summer period. From September, I will have some availability in the early afternoon. This may be suitable if your school or college allows flexibility around your school day, or if you are resitting exams, for example. Availability may change from September/October onwards so I am always happy to have a conversation around availability.

Experience: Very happy to say that all my year 13 students achieved their A grades and secured their place at their first choice University, in the June 25 exams.
I am an Economics and Business Studies teacher with 15 years experience teaching the subjects and experience of getting students excellent results, including students going to Oxbridge. In my most recent role, I was a head of department for Economics and Business. I have also been an examiner for Edexcel.

Kate has been helping my 17 year old son through his mock A-Level Business Studies exams this summer and it`s giving him a real insight into how to make the right preparations. Kate teaches the core subject matter and how to apply this in an exam which has really helped him. The style is also keeping him focussed and making the lessons enjoyable.
