Information about Shoubhik

I am a UCL Electrical & Electronic Engineering student (MEng) and have spent my whole life in academia and in the pursuit of leaning. This is what I am passionate about and have always strived to reach a certain level of excellence which satisfies me and meets my goals. Consequently, this world view means I have always had a yearning to better myself.

I compleated my GCSEs at King Edward VI School Southampton where I received 12 A*s and As; and I did my A Levels at Peter Symonds College, where I graduated with A*AA in Maths, Physics and Chemistry respectively. Besides academics, my hobbies include playing drums and guitar, American football and computer programming- participating in a range of different types of activities has helped me to think dynamically and has helped me with communicating with different people crossing different hurdles. Thus, I will be able to adapt my style to the needs of my student with relative ease.

Availability: I am available till October of 2018. Since I specialise in intensive crash course, where I teach the student an entire syllabus in a matter of weeks, it should be plenty of time for me to cover everything with my student.

If a student does however require lessons after the summer holidays, arrangements can be made where I can still be their tutor or can refer to another tutor in the student`s local area, who can teach the student more frequently.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have both given and received private academic tuition since GCSEs. This means that I am well versed in what is taught in school, and specifically what is not taught in school, but is essential to improving the student`s understanding of a field. Familiarising a student with these tips and tricks (ie. exam techniques) is what gets us those top A/A* marks.

Since secondary school, I volunteered in may different programmes which taught maths, english and french to primary school children. During college, I taught many GCSE students maths and sciences and helped them get their A/A* grades. Thus, I have a wealth of experience to draw from and help the next generation of students with their course.
