Nancy

My name is Nancy and I am a qualified science teacher currently living in Kirkby Lonsdale. I teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and Biology at KS4.

I aim to assist students in reaching their maximum potential by using the best teaching approach tailored to each individual and unique person. I have a supportive and approachable attitude and aim to assist students in building up confidence in their own abilities.

Whether you feel like you need to catch up on work missed, improve your exam technique or just gain a better understanding of Biology, Chemistry or Physics topics, I can help.

I am DBS certified and available to teach in your home.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings Monday - Friday.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I am a fully qualified Science teacher and have been teaching for 2 years.

I gained my PGCE at The University of Cumbria and have a degree in Natural Sciences (Biology and Environmental Science) from the University of Lancaster.

In addition to teaching, I also assist with the Scouts as a Mountain Leader and Mountain Bike Leader and have previously worked as a Ghyll Scrambling instructor for all age groups.
