I am a 21 year old student studying Msci Marine Biology with Oceanography at Southampton University. I am really passionate about all of the sciences and I studied biology and chemistry at A levels achieving top grades. During my degree, I spend a lot of time utilising all three of the sciences and I think this helps show students the relevance of these subjects which makes it more exciting to study.

I have always loved mentoring younger children at my secondary school, especially those that need a little bit more time to pick stuff up and I love watching people grow in confidence and ability. I find it is normally confidence in their ability that is the main problem with young people. I really enjoy making lessons as engaging as possible using a range of learning styles to try and make sure students don`t lose concentration and to try and make learning more fun. Most importantly, I hope to share my love for the sciences with my students!
