I am a Psychology lecturer at the University of Surrey, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and hold a PhD from UCL. I aim to inspire a passion for the subject: I believe that linking study materials to their real-world relevance is the best way to engage students` and ignite a desire to learn, seek out and retain knowledge. At the same time I focus on improving writing skills and exam technique giving my tutees the very best chance of success at A-level and the confidence to impress in University entrance exams/interviews. At the undergrad/postgrad level I specialise in improving students` writing technique, with a focus on critical thinking and evaluation of sources, argument structure and academic writing ability.
