I graduated with an MSci and BA in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, in June 2015. Following this I obtained an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures at Imperial College London, and started a PhD in physics in October 2016. Prior to University, I went to an international school in the Netherlands and took IGCSE and IB exams (achieving 42 points out of 45 in my IB exams). My university degree, Natural Sciences, required a broad range of science and maths subjects to be taken before specialising in physics in my final two years.

During my time at Cambridge, I participated in research at Cambridge and Harvard University, resulting in several published papers. I also made time for many extracurricular activities, especially RAG (a fundraiding organisation), as well as rowing, yoga and consulting projects.

I have tutored IB exam candidates in Chemistry and Maths previously, as well as A-level and GCSE Physics, Chemistry, Maths and A-level Further Maths, with 150+ hours experience. I think it`s important that students feel comfortable to ask the questions they may not ask at school so they can understand the reasoning behind methods taught in science and maths, rather than just rote-learning equations. I genuinely love science and find it exciting to tackle a problem and solve it, and I want to help others feel that same sense of achievement. I`m happy to teach physics up to degree level, and maths and chemistry up to A-level/IB.
