I am a first year Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London. Engineering is a field that heavily involves mathematics and physics as well as chemistry; these are subjects that I have learnt throughout my school education and the ones that I tutor to students. As a tutor I use a methodical approach to teach and explain the content to the students in order to develop the student’s ability to problem solve and tackle real-world problems that exams can include.

When a student is having difficulty with a concept I am patient and provide guidance; I break down the concept into its building blocks to make it easier for them to understand and to deduce the ideas. As I have recently finished my school education I have good knowledge of the GCSE and linear A-level syllabuses.

In addition to the standard qualifications (A-Level predicted grades provided) I have achieved silver awards in the British Physics and Chemistry Olympiads. These are challenging competitions that are enjoyable to take part in; these papers are reliant on a student`s ability to problem solve and analyse data, skills that I teach to my students, in addition to understanding the concepts, to ensure that they are best prepared for higher education and the examinations they have to take.

Experience: For the past 2 years I have been tutoring and mentoring at the sixth form I attend, helping students with their A-Level subjects making the hap between A-levels and GCSE a smooth transition. I have also had experience with primary and secondary students, helping them with their work and explaining to them concepts that they are unsure or find difficult to understand.
