Hello, my name is Ian and I am a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated tutor available to help build knowledge and confidence in any sciences subjects to A-Level standard.
I graduated from Cambridge University in 2003 with a degree in Biological Natural Sciences. After university I attended law school before starting work as a lawyer in 2005 and moving finally into finance in 2008.
I have 5 years tutoring experience at GCSE and A-Level but more importantly I am very keen to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for the sciences in an engaging and stimulating way. I have an excellent track record of improving my students’ grades, well above their initial predictions in most cases.
Availability: Throughout the week
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: 5 years’ experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level sciences. I am also happy to tutor GCSE maths.

Ian has been tutoring our daughter for a while now and she has greatly improved in her confidence and this is showing in her test grades. At the moment she is set to achieve or exceed her target grades for her GCSE’s next year
