I completed a Bcs in Mathematics at London Metropolitan University with First degree. I also have a strong understanding of child psychology and have diplomas in Protective behavior and Mindfulness.

Availability: I am available every day between 10 and 2pm and every evening between 4 and 8pm.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: My teaching experience is broad and includes working at [contact detail removed]
schools teaching Maths to students with autism and learning and emotional difficulties, private Maths tutoring to students and adults up to ‘A’ level. I also specialise at delivering Functional maths preparation to professionals and college students.
By working with students for so many years combined with deep understanding of child psychology, I came up with unique formula to explain maths in simple language my tutees can relate to and also apply themselves. I aim to make their learning experience as enjoyable as possible and to let them see their own abilities and to grow in confidence..

Research evidence of the benefits of Mindfulness for Children and Young People:
• Tendency towards worrying decreased.
• Anxiety and stress reduced.
• Reactivity and bad behaviour declined.
• Improvement in sleep quality.
• Enhanced self-esteem.
• Increased calmness and sense of relaxation.
• Greater levels of self-regulation and awareness.
• Greater levels of attention and focus.
• Decreased test anxiety.
• Reduced levels of ADHD behaviour.
• Improved resilience, confidence and motivation.
• Increased levels of optimism and positive emotions.
• Improved academic performance.
• Reduction in negative self-belief.
