Since graduating from the University of Manchester with a First-class degree in Russian and Italian, I have worked extensively as an English language, literature, foreign languages and art and design tutor. I have experience working with a range of ages, abilities and syllabuses.
As a foreign languages tutor, my aim is stimulate interest in the given language, using films and literature as a springboard for discussion. I have an extensive knowledge of Russian and Italian cinema, art and literature, my teaching is grounded in the study of films and texts as an essential way of not only developing language comprehension skills, but as a way of stimulating interest in a particular culture. I am a recent MA graduate from the Royal College of Art and have extensive experience of tuition in art and design- I have assisted a number of students with portfolio preparation for GCSE and A level examination and entry into Foundation level courses.

Experience: I have been working as an English language, literature foreign languages and art tutor for the past 4 years for a number of agencies including London Home Tutors and Educate Private. I work with a range of ages, abilities and syllabuses- from Primary English to A-level and Baccalaureate.
