I am a highly experienced professional maths tutor, educated at PhD level. I have worked as a professional maths tutor and a research scientist with the University of Bristol for 22 years.
Since 2021, I have accumulated over 1800 hours of online maths tuition, supporting over 160 students with their exam preparation. I currently teach around 15 students per week both online and in-person and help them to reach their maximum potential in their studies. I teach Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Mechanics.
Throughout my career, I supervised a large number of KS3, GSCE, A level, MSc and PhD students in their maths and applied mathematics studies. I have a sound knowledge of the maths curriculum and the exam board requirements (Edexcel, AQA, OCR, IB, IGCSE).
I hold a DBS certificate.
I have the most up to date teaching tools and software for teaching online, including HD webcam, whiteboard, access links to teaching resources and teaching platform software. I hold an extensive archive of Edexcel, AQA, OCR, IGCSE past exam papers (KS3, GSCE and A-Level) and teacher resources.
I would love to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths with you, so you can achieve the best results in your exams.
Availability: I am available to teach online and in person, most days of the week and in weekends.

My son is very happy with Luiza`s tutoring. She was very quick to understand where he is at and what he needs in order to get the best possible grade for him in his A`Level Maths. She is pitching the exercises just right and knows how to give him just enough prompts for him to do all the thinking. Things are clicking into place and my son is starting to feel more confident tacking the more complex questions in past papers. Would definitely recommend Luiza to any student aiming for top marks.

Luiza has been brilliant helping my daughter with her maths in her GCSE year. She was lacking confidence and understanding in the subject but Luiza had patiently helped her so much. She has really grown in confidence and would highly recommend Luiza she is a very good tutor.
