Hannah

Hi my name is Hannah. I am a qualified teacher with a degree in Primary Education and Mathematics from Edge Hill University. I have taught in primary schools across Liverpool and have also had experience as an intervention tutor. I am currently taking a break from full time teaching to raise a family.
I am friendly, approachable and passionate about teaching. When tutoring I aim to find out quickly which areas of Mathematics or English the student needs to develop and therefore am able to plan personalised tuition for that individual student and to ensure effective use of tutoring time.
I always endeavour to engage my students in their learning and use a range of interactive resources to help them enjoy their learning. I ensure students have a good understanding of vital examination topics and include as many exam questions as possible to help build up confidence and exam technique.
Throughout my teaching career, I have demonstrated my ability to be a creative, inspiring practitioner by delivering lessons that enable every child to progress. I aim to deliver tuition that is creative, fun and meaningful to ensure the children are not only learning but are interested, motivated and enjoy what they are learning.

I offer a free 20-30 minute introduction lesson. During the first lesson I will bring my qualification and DBS certificates.
