Bethanie

I am a qualified teacher with six years of experience, having taught students ranging from 3 to 11 years old. In addition to my professional work, I am passionate about cooking, singing, dancing, and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular gym sessions. I also have a love for travel and aspire to teach abroad in the future.

Currently, I work with a diverse group of students, ranging from primary school to university level. I am always open to new opportunities and strive to accommodate new students, so please feel free to reach out if you are interested.

Availability: I will do my best to accommodate students, though please note that as a full-time teacher during the day, my availability is in the evenings from 5 p.m. onwards, as well as Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

Experience: With over 10 years of experience in teaching children, I began my career at the age of 18 as a qualified nursery nurse. During my undergraduate studies in Education and Sociology, I worked as a Key Group Leader at a local nursery. At 19, I taught English to children in Spain. After completing my degree, I pursued a PGCE, gaining teaching experience from Nursery to Year 2. I then joined a teaching agency, which allowed me to work with children up to Year 6.

Currently, I am in my 6th year of teaching, working with Year 3 students. I am familiar with a variety of educational schemes, including RWI, Kinetic Letters, and many others. If your child’s school follows a specific scheme of work, I will do my best to adapt to it.
