I am a Classics teacher at a boarding school in Surrey. I graduated from Oxford University in 2013, and worked in consulting for three years. I tutored in my spare time both at university and while I worked in London. I switched to teaching in 2016 when I realised that I enjoyed tutoring far more than my day-job. I have not regretted the change of career for a single moment. After a year working as a History teacher at a comprehensive school, I did my PGCE at Cambridge University. I have worked at the my current school ever since.

Availability: I am available on weekdays from 16:30. I am also available at weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Qualified teacher with a decade`s tutoring experience. I focus on improving essay writing skills, and tutoring English, History, Religious Studies, and Classics (Latin, Greek, and Classical Civilisation) at GCSE and A-Level. However, I have enjoyed supporting students aged 11-18 across most subjects on the curriculum. Interview and entrance examination preparation for university admissions is my other specialism, and as part of this work I have also prepared students for the American SATs.
