Hi, I have 26 years teaching experience within a variety of different schools. I can tutor any subject up to KS2 and Maths to GCSE level. I have been a KS2 English SATs marker for 15 years which has given me added insight into their requirements. I have also been successful tutoring Maths to KS3 and GCSE levels.
My style is friendly and approachable and I have a lot of patience!! I love tutoring and try to foster an enjoyment for learning with all my pupils. It`s important to take a holistic approach to learning and to develop a relationship based on mutual respect. I always make sure that my lessons are individually planned for each student. I am happy to provide homework, if required, relevant to the needs of the individual.

I can travel more than 10 miles but would need to add a little more for petrol.

Availability: Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm and weekends

Experience: I have many years of experience in intervention and 1 to 1 tutoring within a Primary School setting, delivering many intervention sessions for Maths and English. I started full-time tutoring in June 2018 and I’m tutoring 15 students to KS3 and GCSE level and 8 students to KS2 level. My wife and I also teach our daughter who is home-educated. She has a chromosomal disorder which means that we have to provide her with a tailor-made curriculum.
