Hello there!

I am an EFL, GCSE (French & English) specialist.


I have 20 years experience teaching in the EFL sector, as well as private tutoring for GCSE English & French.

I have a BA Honours in French and I am CELTA qualified, as well as certified with distinction in Physical Theatre.

Availability: Week days ( time negotiable) and weekend availability.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have taught to primary school children and teenagers in France, Spain & Italy, as well as running my own after school club for infants.

I have also taught international groups of all ages and levels in various renowned Brighton language schools - ISE, Language Studies International, Spraachcaffe - as well as one-to-one tuition in general and business english in Parisian international companies.

In Paris I also did a lot of after-school private tutoring for children/teenagers aged 11 to 18.

My work has also taken me to Italy and Spain, where I taught English to Italian High School students and Theatre in Education to Spanish primary school students.

My aim is to really build up the student`s confidence and competence by encouraging communication through structured conversation & exercises, based on their needs and interests. Once established, I provide a balanced programme of active listening and speaking activities, supported by grammatical and vocabulary exercises.

Children learn best through play so I always encourage students to enjoy the language through various games.

French teaching : With a BA Honours French and 10 years working in France, I also teach French to children and adults. I have taught French in nurseries and private tutoring to adults.
