Having previously disliked English Literature my daughter is now considering studying it for A level. Emma has really helped motivate her for her GCSE exam and enjoy the subject.

I hired Emma to tutor my anxious son, who also lacks self confidence, GCSE English Language and Literature. He finds talking with strangers difficult and uncomfortable, especially teachers, but Emma won him over within the first lesson with her open, welcoming personality and her understanding of his condition and situation. Kieran mentioned after the first lesson that the way she chatted to him and taught the lesson didn`t make him feel stupid or thick and was keen for the next lesson.
Kieran has improved during these lessons with Emma showing him new techniques that work for him and this improvement has been noticed by his teachers at school.
The progress that Kieran has made so far is definitely down to Emma and this has had a positive affect on his confidence too.
So thank you Emma
