My name is Laura, I have been teaching UKS2 in primary school since 2014 and taught in a secondary school for a year before that. I have recently completed my Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology to support children and adults in mental health and wellbeing.
I am a friendly and professional tutor and believe that learning needs to be tailored to each individual so they can be supported in a way that best suits them. I believe that tutoring can increase a child’s confidence and resilience to learning which can then help them back in the classroom.

Experience: I obtained Qualified Teacher Status with a PGCE in 2013. I have 7 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have taught in UKS2 and secondary school years 7-13. I have experience working with students with additional needs, including special needs, English as an Additional Language and Gifted and Talented children.
I have recently received a distinction in a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology to support children and adults and their well-being
