I am a second year Business and Economics student at University of Manchester. I am passionate about all aspects of Business and Economics, with a drive to help student attain their best!

I hope to share this passion with my students. I am particularly well versed in exam techniques and preparation having sat lots of exams over few years. I have also recently completed a internship in the business sector which I think has further aided my teaching skills through my ability to talk through practical examples of content with students.

My free time is spent in the world of sport, primarily in football, tennis and skiing. I am a HUGE fan of football. I currently play for the 1st team at the University of Manchester and am also Treasurer of the football club.

Experience: I have been tutoring for just over a year in Business and Economics at both GCSE and A Level. I also have practical experience at a market leading company within the business sector, Dun & Bradstreet.

As someone that also benefited from a tutor in the past, I know how important it is that sessions are focused on how the student learns and how best we can we can accommodate that. We are all different learners and my sessions are tailored around learning to suit each individual students needs.

The first point of call will be to begin with simply discussing which topics are strengths and weaknesses in the students eyes.Together we will then decide which areas we want to focus on.

Once we have chosen a topic we will work on just the basics and making sure we fully understand the building blocks of the topic.

We will then go forward into building our knowledge to whats required for exams. Here I think it is really important to use a multitude of different methods and media to really make sure we have the understanding and content down before we progress to answering exam questions.

Once we really understand the content we will then focus on creating a database of exam style questions, focusing exam technique.
Here we are working on showing the examiner that all our hard work has paid off and we are hitting all the grade boundaries.
