I have been teaching English for 30 years and have led Ks.3 to Ks.4 for 20 of those (Years 7 - 11). As an English Adviser, I was conscri pted to move to the island to support local schools to improve their practise and examination results. As I still teach in a school at secondary, my practise is in line with all the latest practice.

Availability: During and after school during term time.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I am an English teacher, an ex Head of Department and county English Advisor with 30 years of experience teaching Ks3 and 4. I provide face to face tutoring and work to elevate assessment levels by at least two or three grades in a year with carefully tailored lessons.
