Emily

I`m Emily, a Christ`s College, Cambridge English graduate (2024). I will study for a PGCE in Secondary (English) teaching at Jesus College, Cambridge. I studied English Literature, History and Religious Studies A-levels and achieved all A*s in 2021.

I can mentor KS3, GCSE and A-level students and prospective university applicants interested in Oxbridge/UK university study. I have tutored a range of ages from 12 to 17 for Immerse, and Superprof among other companies.

I have studied English from 1066 to the present day and take particular interest in early modern and twentieth-century literature. I am also a published poet and co-editor of a student magazine!

Availability: I am available to teach Monday-Friday morning, afternoon and evening. I am available on afternoons and evenings of Saturdays, and afternoons on Sundays.

Experience: I have experience mentoring in classroom and online settings and have taught one-on-one classes of 10-25. I have mentored for Immerse Education, Superprof, Pebble Partners, Links Education and more. I have tutored a range of abilities thus far, and ages. I have also mentored a student with St Paul`s and Westminster School offers. I represented my college throughout open days/weeks throughout my years at Christ`s. I held talks for prospective applicants and supported students at my old school with interviews and university applications - of which one applicant out of two was successful in receiving a Cambridge offer.
