Hello! I am an experienced Primary School Teacher and an enthusiastic Private Tutor for children aged 4-8 years old. I have taught in a top Catholic Primary School in Portsmouth which regularly attains the best SATs results in the city and have also taught in South West London.
I am currently working as a Year 1 teacher and Phonics Lead at an outstanding Primary School in Twickenham. I also have experience teaching in Year 2 and Year 3. I have been a private tutor for over a year and have helped children improve their Maths, Phonics, Writing and Reading.
I can help your child in any area of Maths or English which you feel they need further support in. I am also able to help children with Year 2 SATs tests, Year 1 Phonics Screening and the 7+ Entrance Exams. Usually I will ask to look at your child`s latest school report to identify any gaps in their learning (or discuss them with you if you already know what they need to work on). I will then plan my tutor sessions based on this information.
I live in Strawberry Hill and I am able to tutor in the surrounding areas nearby such as Kingston, Surbiton, Teddington, Twickenham, Richmond, Barnes and Sheen. I am available after school, on the weekends and during school holidays.
I can bring my certificates and DBS on request.

Experience: I have experience in Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. I have also taught a split year group of Year 1/2 children before so I know these curriculums in detail and the requirements to pass the Year 1 Phonics Screening, Year 2 SATs and 7+ Entrance Exams.
