I am an experienced English teacher and Assistant Headteacher, with 19 years spent teaching secondary-age students and a strong track record of preparing learners for GCSE English Language and English Literature. I have taught a a wide range of abilities and exam boards - mostly AQA and Edexcel - helping students build confidence, improve grades and develop a genuine understanding of how English works.

My sessions are structured, supportive and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on developing key skills such as analytical writing, exam technique, reading comprehension and accurate, effective written expression.

Whether a student needs targeted exam preparation, confidence-building, or long-term support, I aim to make learning purposeful, motivating and results-driven.

Availability: After school sessions, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Monday 9am - 3pm.
Saturday afternoon.
Sunday morning.
