1st Class (Hons) English graduate, with 16 years secondary teaching experience in top performing independent and grammar schools, boasting an outstanding record of results. I provide home tuition in KS3, (I)GCSE, A Level and IB Diploma English. All lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the student, from improving literacy, raising current attainment and retakes, all the way to Oxbridge entry preparation including UCAS statements, sample work and mock interviews. I provide students with extensive resources to ensure that they are fully equipped with heavily annotated literary texts, and notes, in readiness for revision. When necessary, I also teach revision and exam performance techniques.
Since Lockdown I have taught all my students live online. As this has proven workable I will be offering online lessons beyond Lockdown, in addition to face-to-face tuition for those that prefer it.
