Information about Zaki
Hello! My name is Zaki and i am a recent Masters graduate with ambitions for Graduate Entry Medicine.
My interest in biology stretches back for as long as I can remember! And I hope to convey the same sense of passion and curiosity to all those I tutor. I have experience in working with children and teenagers in an educational capacity from Key stages 1-3 and GCSE and A-level.
I remember how difficult studying for my A-levels seemed to be, and I hope I will be able to alleviate a lot of that stress for you!

Experience: Working as a student ambassador for the University of Nottingham, I lead sessions aiming to teach Key stages 1 & 2 children basic human anatomy and biology. These sessions proved formative to my appreciation of different learning styles, I believe it is much more important to empathise with pupils than to simply "learn the materials and regurgitate". Further to ambassador work, for the past few years I have actively sought out public engagement events in which I could promote my knowledge and experience. Through "Science Fair" events, I have delivered effective teaching to varied audiences. This often extended beyond Primary school children and involved me engaging with Secondary school pupils and their families.
