Experience: Throughout my education I have always enjoyed maths, and problem solving. I feel I bring this experience to my tutoring and can help explain how to work out questions and the understanding behind it.

I have been tutoring for the past year now.

One of my foundation maths students was struggling for confidence and a little understnading of some of the topics in the course. After tutoring him for c6 months I was able to install him with a good knowledge of the course and with a strong confidence that he could pass with flying colours. He was able to pass his exam only dropping 2 marks off 100%.

With my tutees, I would begin with exam papers to find their weaknesses and then work through workbooks and examples with them to help their understanding of what each exam question is asking them. I would focus on working through these weaknesses showing them they are able to do it and building their confidence for those exams at the end.
