Information about Victoria

Hello, I`m Victoria, a qualified Computing and ICT teacher, Microsoft Office Specialist Master (MOS Master) and Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute (FLPI), with over 15 years` experience helping students and professionals build confidence in technology, computing and digital skills.

Alongside my teaching background, I have worked within international professional environments designing and delivering training programmes focused on digital systems, Microsoft Office, workflows and technology productivity. This means I bring both academic knowledge and real-world industry experience into every lesson.

I specialise in supporting students studying:
• GCSE Computer Science
• GCSE ICT/Computing
• A-Level Computer Science
• Digital and technology skills

My teaching approach is calm, structured and supportive. I understand that many students can quickly lose confidence in technical subjects when they feel overwhelmed or fall behind. I focus on breaking concepts down into clear, manageable steps so students properly understand the subject rather than simply memorising information.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs, whether that involves improving understanding of key concepts, strengthening programming skills, preparing for exams, improving revision techniques or rebuilding confidence in Computing.

Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of different ages, abilities and confidence levels, including supporting individuals with different learning styles through structured learning pathways, workflow-based teaching approaches and accessible technology support. My aim is always to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and developing independent problem-solving skills.

Parents are often looking for more than just subject knowledge in a tutor. They want professionalism, patience, reliability and someone who can genuinely support their child’s progress. I pride myself on creating lessons that are engaging, encouraging and designed to help students achieve their potential.

Experience: I am a qualified former Computing and ICT teacher with extensive experience supporting learners in both education and professional environments.

Alongside teaching, I have spent more than 15 years working as a senior technology trainer within international organisations, designing and delivering structured learning programmes focused on digital systems, Microsoft Office, workflows and technology productivity. I have also supported professionals studying towards Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Master certification, helping individuals develop advanced technical skills and confidence with complex systems and software.

A key part of my work has involved designing clear, easy-to-follow learning pathways that help people understand concepts properly rather than simply memorising steps. In Computing especially, students often struggle when they learn what to do without understanding why they are doing it. My approach focuses on building strong foundational understanding so students can think logically, solve problems independently and grow in confidence over time.

I also have experience developing workflow and automation solutions, as well as exploring how AI and digital tools can be used to improve accessibility and support individuals with different learning styles and abilities. This has strengthened my ability to explain technical concepts in a calm, structured and highly adaptable way.

I have supported learners with GCSE and A-Level Computing, including programming fundamentals, revision strategies, exam preparation and rebuilding confidence in technical subjects. My professional background allows me to bring real-world context into lessons while keeping learning engaging, practical and tailored to the individual student.

Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of varying ages, abilities and confidence levels, always aiming to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing independence and achieving their potential.
