Information about Abbey
Dedicated, passionate and fun primary school tutor. I aim to make learning as fun and as practical as possible. Every session is tailored to the individual and their learning needs. I can offer support in any primary school subjects and can help to prepare children for phonics testing and year 2 or 6 SATS. I also have effective strategies to help accelerate reading levels.
Availability: I am available throughout school holidays and after school everyday (4-6pm).
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2011. Since then I have gained 8 years experience teaching in primary schools full time, as a supply and tutoring children at home. I have worked with children all my life in many different roles, some of which include care assistant for children with special needs, running a holiday club for primary children and nannying in Europe.
