Agnes

Agnes Asafo-Agyei holds an MA in Special and Additional Learning Needs, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E.), and a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering. She is a mother of three and a grandmother of two. She has a passion to build confidence in young people and a love of learning and has 23 years of teaching science to GCSE and Chemistry at A level in secondary schools in London.

Experience: Agnes holds Qualified Teacher Status and has extensive experience teaching Biology, Physics and Chemistry to GCSE and Chemistry at Advanced Level in comprehensive schools in London. Agnes progressively advanced through various leadership roles, including Head of Chemistry, Head of Science, and Head of Year, ultimately becoming an Assistant Headteacher. Her management responsibilities included Behaviour for Learning, Safeguarding, Personal Development, Pastoral Care, and Special Educational Needs. She retired from full time teaching in 2020.
