I taught English Language in two of the top colleges in the area, Burton and South Derbyshire College and Walsall College for 17 years to all ages,nationalities and abilities and have also been teaching the new GCSE English privately for the last 2 years, getting some excellent results. I have a Certificate in Education and qualified to Level 4 in English with an additional level 5 qualification, `Supporting Teachers to Teach GCSE English` (the new spec, 1-9). I have a flexible approach and adapt a personal learning plan for the individual.
I consider myself to be reliable, organised, punctual and easy to get on with.
Availability: Monday- Wednesday:3.30-6pm
Saturday- 10am-12
Online/Skype lessons available.
My hourly rate is £25.

Experience: 17 years teaching primary learners upwards from various backgrounds. I teach up to Level 2 English Functional Skills/GCSE and basic Maths. I have also taught on the Family Learning programme and learners of other nationalities and learning difficulties. I am currently in a local secondary school so I can see first hand the requirements for GCSE English language.
I teach the new GCSE English Language specification, 1-9, last year, gaining some excellent results.
English Language is my specialist subject. I can support a student with the basics when it comes to English Literature, as the books being studied vary from school to school.

Tracy was an excellent tutor and, within a couple lessons of tutoring, my daughter was able to gather a lot of new skills and information from her. My daughter was also very happy about the environment that she was able to work in as it was perfect for her to be able concentrate well and get on with her work. I am very pleased with her and hope that Tracy will be able to continue to keep up her good tutoring.

Fantastic, so grateful Tracey managed to fit our son in for extra English tuition, she put him on the right track of where to gain the most marks to get him through his GCSE, fingers crossed whilst we wait for results.
