Information about Pam
I consider myself active, I have loads of interests and I have a sense of humour and enjoy a challenge.
Im an optimist who has always tried to teach the child, not just the syllabus. I am patient.
Availability: Most evenings, by arrangement.
School holidays.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I was a deputy head until I retired.
I taught years 7 to 11 maths, mainly to low ability pupils many of whom disliked maths, but changed their minds!
I taught pupils with learning disabilities aged 3 to 19.
I worked with pupils in mainstream on our outreach programme, doing assessments and writing programmes of study for individuals and helping staff to implement them.
I have done home tutoring.
I can teach maths and although I can teach English, I would only wish to teach literacy skills.
