Hi I`m Megan! I am a biological Natural Sciences graduate (2014) from the University of Cambridge. Studying at Cambridge was a fantastic experience and instilled in me a longstanding interest in the biomedical sciences. Since then I have maintained a strong foothold in academia, freelance tutoring over the years, as well as working for a pharmaceutical and on the frontline in a clinical setting. Recently I have started a new chapter in my life as a medical student!

As such I have a fervent interest in the biomedical sciences in particular, and academia as a whole, so I am very willing to help students pursue their interests outside the curriculum. However, I recognise that in most walks of life the aim of schooling is set very much towards passing the exam! Furthermore, biology/chemistry/physics/maths etc may not be for everyone. Hence unless students and/or parents express a wish to explore outside the curriculum, my tutoring will be exam based and tailored to the exam board in question.

Experience: I have been freelance tutoring since I was 16, and have worked as a full time tutor for a professional tutoring service for over a year. Hence I have 2000+ hours worth of tutoring experience.

My tutoring history has given me considerable experience with a wide range of students of differing abilities and backgrounds, and experience teaching students with special education needs.

I have vast experience teaching Biology and Chemistry to both A level and IB, Maths and Physics to GCSE, I am well versed with each of the Edexcel, OCR and AQA curricula.

I teach biomedical sciences to undergraduate level.

I have helped students prepare for the 11+, 13+ and 16+ entrance exams for UK boarding schools, as well as various academic competitive events such as the Olympiad.

I also offer sessions for Oxbridge applications, personal statements, interview preparation and the UKCAT, BMAT and GAMSAT entrance exams.
