Information about Niall
I`m currently teaching up to A Level. Face to face, small groups and online support available. I believe that EVERYBODY can improve their Maths skills, REGARDLESS of previous experience.
I have experience in tutoring for the Common Entrance up to Level 3 extension papers, the scholarship exams for leading public schools as well as GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A Level. I like to think that more than anything I am an approachable and personable tutor.
ALL my students (>30) have achieved their target grades at GCSE/IGCSE Maths in since 2013. 7 out of 8 did in 2012.
Not all of my students come via Tutor Hunt so I am able to give you many more testimonials than appear on this site should you wish.
Availability: April 2020 UPDATE Due to COVID-19 I am now conducting all lessons online until further notice. New bookings will be taken on the understanding that I will revert to face-to-face teaching as soon as possible and so I still will only teach students in the Wimborne area online or otherwise.
I am now taking tuition bookings for JUNE 2021/22 examinations to begin in teaching in June 2020. I`m available every weekday evening.

Experience: I`m currently a Maths Teacher in a Secondary School teaching all levels up to A.Level. I have 10 Years of tutoring experience. Only one student in that time has not got their desired grade. Plenty of testimonials available. One to one tutoring, small study groups and intensive revision help all possible. If you have found Maths off-putting in the past I am here to convince you it`s FUN. EVERYBODY can make progress in Maths REGARDLESS of previous experience. It`s all to do with adopting a CAN-DO attitude!!

Niall has lifted my son`s prospects for a scholarship at 13 to a public school. He is innovative and thorough and gives a lot of time to making sure he has taught difficult concepts really well. Although he teaches in the state sector, he took great care to get on top of the private system`s CE/scholarship material and expectations, and has achieved a doubling of my son`s score in one summer .

Brilliant!!! My son was struggling badly at GCSE and felt his school had given up on him.....whilst seeing Mr Niall he went from a G2 grade in January (when he started) to passing his GCSE with a C grade. He credits Mr Niall entirely for this grade. They immediately established a good rapport, and Mr Niall was able to calm my son, and talk through many GCSE areas he was struggling with in an interesting and engaging way. I would definitely recommend Mr Niall for maths tutoring.
