I have a PGCE in Secondary Science from Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln and have Qualified Teacher Status gained from Nottingham Trent University.

I had a career in the NHS until 2013 when I decided to pursue my passion for physics and obtain my teaching qualification. Since then I have worked as a secondary school teacher, teaching students aged 14 - 19 years. I work hard to ensure that students meet or exceed there expected outcomes allowing them to move successfully to the next stage in their own career development.

Availability: Available evenings and weekends.
1 - 2 hour sessions.

Experience: I am a qualified and experienced Physics Teacher with over 4 years of teaching GCSE and A-level physics in a local secondary school (in addition I have taught level-3 Maths for Engineering and some chemistry). 

I have taught to a variety of different specifications including AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I have an in depth knowledge of the new GCSE 9-1 curriculum, and offer tuition in GCSE physics, GCSE maths and A-Level Physics. 

All tuition lessons are tailored to meet the needs and learning styles of the individual. I have a variety of practical resources which I can bring to tuition sessions in order to help bring the subject to life. I aim to deliver each different topic in a fun and engaging way that will inspire students to love the subject.

I further support students with electronic resources such and past exam papers and revision guides in order to practise further in between tuition sessions.
