Information about Giles
I am a graduate from Canterbury Christ Church University with a Bsc (Hons) in Geography. I have been working in a Private School educational setting for the past four years and I am currently working within the Specific Learning Difficulties field. Through this experience, I have gathered extensive knowledge of not only a variety of exam boards, but the struggles in which students face.
Specialism includes: Dyslexia, Autism, Aspergers and Dyspraxia, exam technique and essay structuring.
I am enthusiastic, patient and have a problem-solving mindset. I believe that every child has the potential to achieve their desired results, all they need is the right guidance.
Exams are extremely difficult in any situation and by working together, we can help you not only catch up/ re-address the difficulties within certain topics, but excel in these areas. As the saying goes "Self-confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings". Everyone can succeed and all you need to do is firstly develop confidence and then develop the structure and content knowledge to guarantee success.

Experience: I have worked in a Private school within the Learning Support Department for the last four years and therefore I am extremely experienced with 1-1 sessions. Having struggled myself at school with Maths, I have worked out a way to get the best out of myself and others. Working 1-1 allows the student to gain confidence and understand what may be missed in the classroom.
