I am a qualified English teacher, teaching ages 11-16. Last year, I was also an AQA GCSE Examiner. This has given me an insight into what examiners are looking for in students` responses, including how marks are awarded.
Availability: Monday-Friday - 4.30pm onwards.
Weekends - 9am onwards.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I am a qualified English secondary school. I have been teaching for 6 years. I have a BA honours degree in English Literature and Drama and have a PGCE degree in Secondary English. I teach GCSE English Language and Literature and can prepare students for the new GCSE specifications. This can range from exam practise, learning how to revise for English exams, learning analytical and evaluative skills, SPAG and much more.
I aim to work to your child`s abilities, working on their areas of improvement and constantly providing detailed personalised feedback.
