I am a bilingual (German & English) medical doctor with a BSc in Geology & Biology, a MSc in Biotechnology, and a Medical Degree currently working part-time in medicine and part-time as a tutor. Alongside practising clinically, I continue to teach because I genuinely love helping students grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals.

Over the past 12 years, I have studied and worked across three universities in a wide range of scientific disciplines. During this time, I have tutored students at various levels — from school students to university undergraduates — gaining extensive experience supporting different learning styles and academic needs.

My teaching style is personalised and student-centred. I don’t just focus on getting the right answers — I help students build the skills, structure, and exam technique they need to feel independent and confident in their studies. I am extremely patient and take pride in creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging topics.

I place particular emphasis on exam preparation and technique. Whether preparing for mocks or final exams, I work closely with students to refine their approach, improve time management, and strengthen weak areas. I am happy to set tailored mock exams, provide structured revision plans, and offer ongoing homework support where needed.

A typical 1-hour lesson may look like this:

• 0–15 minutes: Introduction to the topic and why it matters
• 15–25 minutes: Guided examples and worked solutions
• 25–55 minutes: Supervised practice with feedback
• 55–60 minutes: Summary, homework (if desired), and planning next steps

However, this structure is flexible — I am always happy to design a bespoke lesson plan to suit individual goals and learning preferences.

Above all, I love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and move closer to the careers and passions they are aiming for. I am experienced, patient, and fully committed to supporting you in whatever way will help you succeed.

Availability: I am pretty flexible on my availability, due to the nature of my clinical work so it is best to message me directly to set up a time that works for you.


There will be times where I may not be available but these can vary slightly. I will of course let you know if there are any clashes in order to have a good schedule.

As well as studying for my degrees, I have tutored for 12 years and have seen students through their GCSEs and A-Levels and on to university, supporting them with their personal statements in the UCAS system, interviews for medical school and other assessments and entrance exams.
