I`m a current Head of Languages and teach both French and. German to A Level. 2 of my A Level linguists secured places at Oxford last year.
I`m a mum of 2 - both currently studying for their A Levels.
I love to travel and encourage others to do the same - travel is so much more rewarding and authentic if you speak the language of the country you are visiting!

Experience: I have been teaching in Surrey secondary schools for just over 20 years and am currently Head of Languages in a Guildford school.
I specialise in French and have taught students of all abilities GCSE and A Level. I currently teach AQA and Edexcel. For A Level, I have expert knowledge of the books and films on the syllabus - La Haine. les 400 coups, No et moi and L`Etranger.
I also teach German across the Key Stages and for A Level, I have expert knowledge of Der Besuch der alten Dame and Goodbye, Lenin.
For both A Levels, I have supported students with their IRPs.
I have detailed knowledge of both of the main exam boards - AQA and Edexcel - and I have many resources to support students.
I am happy to work intensively with students during holidays in order to support them prior to exams.
Happy to travel within the Guildford/Woking area or I have a quiet space in my own home. I live within walking distance of several Guildford schools.
