I am a professional Oboist who works in London and across the UK. I have had 14years of teaching privately and in many different schools and thoroughly enjoy ALL aspects of teaching. I try and make lessons as fun as possible whilst trying to teach all I have learnt in the years I was learning also. I also believe that no matter the age you can learn lots of new tricks.

I am currently the oboe tutor at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama and artist in residence at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Academy of Music. I also have private students of all ages from 6-75 and all abilities. Please do get in touch and we can try and arrange some lessons.

Availability: My work schedule, like most professional musicians, is like a jigsaw puzzle so I can usually fit most times in the week and weekend.

Experience: I currently teach at Birmingham Conservatoire and Purcell Music School as an artist in residence with my wind quintet the Atéa Quintet. Alongside this I teach at various schools in the SW London area and regularly start children off with their first lesson on the oboe. I have also 14 years of private pupils all achieving an ABRSM pass rate of merit or above.
